Always great to get together!
We are a family that wants to share the Truth about the plan God has for each of us. Just as you, we have been through many of life’s trials but want to also share the experience of the unfailing Love and Faithfulness of the Lord Jesus. When I first came to know about the Person of God and that He is much more than some mist above the clouds, He began to help me understand Who He is and that He has a loving plan each of us. Being raised Catholic did not teach me this. Over the years He has shown me that He is faithful to His Word and that He is always with those who call on His Name.
While growing up as a child, and with my children, we have always enjoyed playing games. As I was learning these basic principles, and they were confirmed to me in His word and through multiple pastors, the idea for this card game was put into my heart. This was over 15 years ago and my children were young. They helped me cut construction paper and paste the printed words with scanned in photos, onto index cards. My older son enjoyed drawing and it seems God gave him the concept of what He wanted revealed, in both the Jesus Returns and the Welcome Home cards.
Life’s trials caused this to go into storage for 15 years. Two years ago when my heart was searching for a way to be of service to God, He spoke to my heart to bring out the game and complete it. He confirmed this in many ways but there is so much more to share that I’ll leave that for another time.
